Obituary of Tommy J. Harrison

Tommy J. Harrison, 65, of Hammonton passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Acuity Specialty Hospital in Atlantic City. Born in Trenton, NJ he was a resident of Hammonton for fifty years. He was the owner of Tommy Tar in Hammonton, an asphalt paving business. He was a longtime active member of Harvest Church previously known as the First Assembly of God Church of Hammonton. He was a lifetime and founding member of the NFLCC. Tommy was an avid angler, and classic car and knife collector. He was predeceased by his parents, Leonard and Elizabeth Harrison, and his brothers, Leonard Harrison and Ethelboy Harrison. He is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy F. Harrison (nee Edwards), three children, Margaret Harrison (Richard), Thomas Harrison, and Kristin Harrison, one brother, Ottoway Harrison, one sister, Betty Jane Harrison - Eckels, three grandchildren, Margaret Stanley (Saul), Harry Harrison (Jerrinamay) and Sebastian Clayton - Harrison, one great grandson, Saul Stanley, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to viewing on Friday, February 5, 2021 from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, another viewing will be held on Saturday February 6, 2021 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Harvest Church previously known as the First Assembly of God Church, 272 Route 206 in Hammonton, where funeral services will take place 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. James Lutheran Church Cemetery, 1341 Mays Landing Road, Folsom, NJ.
