Please share a memory of Ingrid to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Ingrid Moschik, 85, of Hammonton passed away peacefully in her home on December 31, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born in Hamburg, Germany on May 29, 1935 and immigrated to the United States in September 1958 with her husband Helmut and daughter Regina. They started their new life in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia to join her cousin Grace (Bill Bevan) and her father Willy Osten. In a few years they added Jennifer (Steve Johnson) and Elizabeth (Mark Morgan) to the family. "Omi" was a proud grandmother and adored her 9 grandchildren: Claire Moschik; Hannah, Emily, Connor and Ryan Johnson; Kelsey, Zachary, Nicole and Scott Morgan and aunt to Bill, Debbie and Ryan Bevan and Lori (Bevan), Joe, Julia and Daniel Giampaolo. She was predeceased by her childhood sweetheart and devoted husband of 59 years, Helmut. Following her retirement from Whitehall Labs, Ingrid and Helmut enjoyed traveling on cruise ships and visiting family and friends in Germany and Africa. Ingrid was a dedicated church member at St. James Lutheran Church in Folsom for over 55 years where she enjoyed serving on Altar Guild, singing in the choir and was a founding member of the Prayer Shawl Ministry. Ingrid was an accomplished cook, baker, seamstress, and knitter. She was very proud of her family and enjoyed welcoming guests into the home she and Helmut shared. We are comforted that she is at peace and has been reunited with her soul mate, Helmut. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to St, James Lutheran Church, 1341 Mays Landing Road, Folsom, NJ 08037 or to St Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or a charity of your choice. The funeral and burial will be private. Arrangements by the Carnesale Funeral Home in Hammonton, www.carnesalefuneralhome.com.
