Shirley E. Gillespie, formerly of Woodbury and Woodbury Heights, died Thursday, May 14, at the Berlin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Berlin, Md., where she had resided for almost three years. She was 92. She was born in Woodbury and was a 1945 Woodbury High School graduate. She spent most of her working career with RCA/GE in Camden and Deptford before retiring in 1992. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Daisy Gillespie, a sister, Mary Lindvig; a brother, Joseph; her twin, Margaret Gillespie; and a niece, Deborah Sciglitano.
She is survived by her brother, John R. Gillespie and his wife, Mary, of Hammonton; a nephew, Dr. John A. Gillespie and his wife, Michele, of Berlin, Md; a niece, Beth Good and her husband, Steve, of Reinholds, PA; three grandnephews, Jake Gillespie, Maximillian Medaglia and Daniel Medaglia; and a grandniece, Paige Gillespie.
Services and burial at will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
