Obituary of Anne L. Murphy-Thomas

Anne L. Murphy - Thomas (nee Briglia), 79 passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Powerback Rehabilitation in Voorhees. Born in Camden, NJ she was a lifelong resident of South Jersey and she spent many of those years living in Medford. Anne had worked as an administrative assistant at American Honda in Mt. Laurel, as a banquet manager at Tavistock Country Club and the Marlton Tavern and as a secretary for Murphy Flooring Inc. in Medford. She enjoyed going to yard sales, and bargain hunting, but the thing she enjoyed the most was spending time with her family. Anne was predeceased by her two husbands, Robert E. Murphy and Paul Thomas. She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly A. Bekisz (John) of Waterford and Stacy A. Shaw of Sicklerville, three grandchildren, Jonathan Bekisz (Angela), Nicholas Bekisz (Danniella) and Gabrielle Bekisz, and one great grandchild, Maddox Bekisz. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 27, 2020 from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM at Christ the Redeemer Parish - Assumption Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Drive, Atco, NJ where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Voorhees Animal Orphanage, 419 Cooper Road, Voorhees, NJ 08043.
