Frances (nee Tomasello) Vallaster, passed away peacefully at home on January 15, 2022 at the age of 93. She was born and raised in Hammonton. She married in 1954 and shortly after moved to Elm where she lived presently. Frances worked for WB Kessler Clothing Company after graduating High School, then moved to a career in Banking at First Federal Savings and Loan. After retiring she worked part time for the Ideal Clothing Company. Frances enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She was predeceased by her husband Junior Robert Vallaster, her parents, Josephine and Salvatore Tomasello, sister, Carmella, Kathryn, Josephine Capella; brothers, Angelo, Frank and Anthony. She is survived by her children, Roberta, Cynthia Perkins (Steve), Robert (Lisa). Frances is also survived by her grandchildren, Melissa Giardino (Mike), Jason Vallaster, Zachary Perkins (Jenna), David Cox, Catherine Kleuser (Mark) and Jesse Vallaster. Frances has 6 great grandchildren, Michael Giardino, Matthew Giardino, Maximillia Giardino, Harrison Perkins, Ellie Perkins and Lane Perkins. Also surviving her are her nieces, Thelma DeCerbo (Joe), Kathleen DeMaio (Micky), Joann Aach (Jerry), Dorothy Grasso (Frank) and sister in law, Betty Vallaster. Funeral Services will be held, Thursday, January 20, 2022, 12:00 pm at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St, Hammonton, where a viewing will be held from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Burial will follow in Greenmount Cemetery, Hammonton. Memorial Donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or to the Alzheimer's Association.
