Obituary of Tim J. Wetherbee

Tim Wetherbee, 68 of Hammonton passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday November 8, 2017. He was a lifelong resident of Hammonton, graduating from St. Joseph's High School in 1967. Tim was a champion of the New Jersey Blueberry Industry. He was the sales manager of Diamond Blueberry, Inc. Tim served in numerous professional capacities. He was Chairman of the New Jersey Blueberry Industry Advisory Council and a member of the New Jersey Blueberry Growers Association. Tim was appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, serving as the New Jersey state representative to the United States Highbush Blueberry Council. He was a member of the North American Blueberry Council, of which his father, Alex, was a founding member. Tim was loved and respected by the entire blueberry industry, to which he poured his heart and soul. He will truly be missed by all in the industry. Tim loved to spend time with his family and his favorite dogs, Chyna and Roscoe. . He was predeceased by his father Alexander Wetherbee and mother Veronica R. Wetherbee. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Francisca Wetherbee, daughter Veronica Wetherbee, twin brother Greg Wetherbee and his wife Sandy Wetherbee, sister Cindy Wetherbee, and nephew Brian Wetherbee all of Hammonton. A Mass of Christian Burial Will be celebrated 10:00am Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017 in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Joseph's 226 French St., Hammonton. Burial will be private. Viewings will be held Friday, Nov. 10, 6:00pm - 9:00pm and again on Saturday, 8:30am - 9:30am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be may to the Hammonton Chapter of the Sunshine Foundation, PO Box 164, Hammonton, NJ 08037. The family would like to thank Virtua Hospital in Voorhees Township for all of their wonderful help.
