She also leaves behind 10 siblings: Keith Bates Sr., Paul Jenkins Jr., Edward Jenkins Sr., Brian Jenkins, Bristol Jenkins Sr., Lovell Gardenhire, Jason Jenkins, James Jenkins, Lori Dobies, Matthew Jenkins and a host of Nieces and Nephews. Dolores has gone on to join her brother the late John Bates.

Dolores was very much into fashion and style, so she pursued a career in the beauty and makeup field. Dolores studied at Shore Beauty School and later became a self-employed traveling makeup artist, her business was called SoGlamOrUs LLC. To name a few of her jobs; she was a home health aid, a licensed health insurance agent, an aid at Sunrise Senior living Center and a face painting artists for many community events.

Dolores was full of life, funny, witty and loved people, she was well known and made friends where ever she went. Although she wore many hats, the one thing that was nearest to her heart besides her family was outreach. She was a member at Gods reaching out ministries in Atlantic City, where she she fed and prayed for the poor and homeless. She traveled all over to picked up food and donations to make sure the church had enough food to feed the hungry. She was so bold and committed to saving souls. She didn't care what condition, color, creed, religion or issue a person had she wanted everyone she came in contact with to know the love of Jesus. That's what she loved and that's what she did until the day she went on to be with the Lord
