Obituary of Victoria A. Ballard

Victoria A. Ballard (nee Chudomelka), 62 of Folsom, NJ passed away on Wednesday April 5, 2017 in AtlanticCare Regional Medical Center Mainland Division. Born in Allegheny County, PA she lived in this area for many years. Victoria was a retired speech, language and hearing technician at Ancora Psychiatric Hospital where she made many friends. She also made many friends while working at US Vision in She is survived by her daughter, Jamie Ballard of Folsom; her brother Steve Chudomelka of Audubon; one sister, Kate Birkel of Omaha, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Scott and Tori and 2 great grandchildren (with a third on the way!). Vick grew up in Laurel Springs and Stratford, NJ. She graduated from Sterling High School in 1972. Along with her loving family, she is also survived by her dear friends: Donna-Jo Cohan, Mary Connolly, Dana Dimitri-Disipio, Sue Hahn, Keith Killian, and far too many others to name here. She loved you all. Known to those who loved and will miss her as “Aunt Binki”, “Ya Ya” and “The Bird”, she will remain in our hearts for the rest of our lives. A visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 4:30pm at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, NJ 08037. A Service of Remembrance will begin at 5:00pm. It has been requested by the family, 'No flowers please.'. We think The Bird would appreciate donations to Animal Welfare and the like. Interment at the convenience of the family.
