Obituary of Helen K. Sims

Helen K. Sims, 84 of Hammonton, NJ passed away peacefully with her family at her side in Samaritan Hospice in Mount Holly on Friday, September 16, 2016. Born in Trion, Georgia she lived in this area for many years. Mrs. Sims worked for Lenox China for over 25 years. She was a member of the Glass, Pottery, Plastics and Allied Workers International Union. She was predeceased by her husband James Calvin Sims and her granddaughter, Lisa J. DePalma. Mrs. Sims is survived by her daughter and son in law, Marie and Henry Mortelliti of Hammonton, her brother Reverend John Mann of Lyerly, GA; her sister, Lula Hughes of Sommerville, GA; her grandson John Mortelliti and his wife Michelle, her grandson in law, Louis T. DePalma; four great grandchildren, Kirsten Mortelliti and her fiancé Kyle Ambrozaitis, Justin Mortelliti, Giovanni DePalma and Dante DePalma. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday Sept. 20, 2016 11:00am at the Carnesale Funeral Home 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, NJ where a viewing will be held from 9:00am until 11:00am. Burial will follow in Greenmount Cemetery, Hammonton.
