Mary A. Combs, 89, of Hammonton passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, July 7, 2016. Born and raised in Philadelphia she resided in Hammonton for 45 years. Before moving to Hammonton she worked at Univac in Blue Bell, PA, where she was the head of the accounts payable department. Mrs. Combs retired from Jamesway Dept. Store in Hammonton, where she was the head of the Men's Department. She was a longtime volunteer at Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton. Mrs. Combs was predeceased by her husbands, James H. Stark, James McCown; Clint Combs; her three sons, James H. Stark, Ronald C. Stark and Gary M. Stark; her two sisters, Jacquelyn Perrone and Gwen McDevitt. She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Dianne & Leonard Ford of Newport; Karen & Steve Masi of Hammonton; Kenneth & Eilene Stark of Reno, NV; her step-children, Diane Weiss (Tom); Denise VanSciver all of Mays Landing; David Combs (Kristie) of Ovilla, Texas; her two brothers, Harry DePoy (Jean) of Langhorne, PA; Donald Knapp (Josephine) of Warminster, PA her sister Catherine Brucia of Sun City West, Arizona; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday July 11, 2016, 11:00am in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Anthony of Padua, 285 Route 206, Hammonton. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hammonton. A viewing will be held Monday morning 9:00am - 10:30am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, NJ.
