Obituary of Albert A. DeCicco

Albert A. DeCicco, 89, of Mays Landing passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the Inspira Medical Center in Vineland, N.J. Born in Hammonton, NJ, Albert was a graduate of Hammonton High School. A veteran of the Korean Conflict, Mr. DeCicco served in the Army Occupation in Germany. Albert did not like being inactive. He liked to tinker around the house, adding a garage, bathroom, and back porch. Albert did anything to make his home more comfortable for his guests. He was a generous man, always ready to share with friends and family. Albert was an insurance executive, employed by Colonial Life Insurance Company for over 20 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Caroline (Meglino) DeCicco, brothers Samuel, Salvatore and Joseph, as well as his sister, Antionette Capelli. Albert is survived by his son, Albert Anthony (Nancy), daughter Jacklyn Rae Greb and his grandchildren: Kelly Rae and Garrett Michael Greb, Dr. Anthony Edward and Victoria Lynn DeCicco. He is also survived by his sister Caroline Byrne, several nieces, nephews and sister-in-law Sarah DeCicco. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 27 at 11 a.m. at the Carnesale Funeral Home 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, NJ. Burial will follow in Greenmount Cemetery, Hammonton. Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and again on Monday 10:30am at the funeral home.
