Andrew Angelo Mendolia, 84 of Hammonton passed away peacefully on May 8, 2010. Born and raised in Hammonton he was a lifelong resident there. Mr. Mendolia was a Coast Guard Veteran of World War II. Before retiring he worked for Mac Tom Pump & Tank in Hammonton for many years. He was a member of the Pipefitters Local No. 322 in Winslow. He is survived by his beloved wife of fifty nine years, Dorothy Mendolia (nee Sacco) devoted father of Andrew C. Mendolia (Gloria), Karen Mendolia (Colleen), his grandchildren, Andrew A. Mendolia (Mary), Mark A. Mendolia (Valerie), his great grandchildren, Jeremy, Andrew, Sofia, and Mark Anthony, his brother, John Amendolia, and his mother in law, Myrtle Sacco. He will be remembered greatly and missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, May 14, 2010 at 11:00 AM at St. Martin DePorres R.C. Church, 129 Park Avenue in Hammonton, where relatives and friends may call after 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton. Donations may be made to the Hammonton Rescue Squad, 300 S. Egg Harbor Road, Hammonton, NJ 08037.
