Jenna Lynn Perone, 27 of Hammonton died Monday in Perth Amboy. Born in South Korea she lived most of her life in Hammonton before moving to the Perth Amboy area several years ago. She graduated from Hammonton High School Class of 2001, where she excelled in basketball, softball and tennis. Jenna was an avid athlete who participated in many sports. She was working as a waitress for the Reo Diner in Woodbridge. Jenna is survived by her father, John "Andy" Perone and his wife, Tina of Absecon, her mother, Coleen Capella and her husband, Paul of Hammonton, one brother, Drew Perone of Hammonton, four step sisters, Crystal Schultz of Absecon, Christina Capella, Arielle Capella and Adriana Capella all of Hammonton, her paternal grandfather, John J. Perone of Hammonton, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A viewing will be held Friday 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 10:00 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Martin DePorres, 129 Park Avenue in Hammonton. Entombment will follow at Greenmount Cemetery on S. First Road in Hammonton.
