Obituary of John "Jack" W. Owens

John W. "Jack" Owens, 74, of Elm passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday June 27, 2015. Born in Philadelphia, PA Jack was a resident of the Hammonton and Elm area since 1961. Jack was a member of the Hammonton Police Reserves and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Society in Hammonton. He formerly worked for Custom Sales Inc. in Hammonton. Jack was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time in the woods. Jack was predeceased by his parents Rita and William Owens; his sister Agnes Flood and brothers Edward, Thomas and James. Jack is survived by two daughters, Kim DeClement (Fred), and Sherri Owens; grandsons Corey and Blake Bollinger, the mother of his children Brenda Leone (Anthony), siblings Joanne Wilson, Martin Owens (Theresa), Rita Carrigan, William Owens (Theresa), Barbara Archambault (Raymond) and many nieces and nephews. Viewings will be held on Tuesday June 30, 2015 from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM and Wednesday July 1, 2015 from 8:45 AM - 9:30 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday 10:00 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Joseph's, 226 French Street in Hammonton. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Mays Landing.
