Obituary of John R. Kelly

John R. Kelly, 73, of Hamilton Township passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at home. Born in Brooklyn, New York he was a Hamilton Township resident for more than thirty two years. Mr. Kelly formerly worked as an electrician, and he was a partner in L & K Electric Company in Brooklyn, NY. Mr. Kelly also held a black seal license for boilers. He enjoyed model trains, visiting and going to see Lighthouses along the coast, going to his grandchildren's sporting events, and spending quality time with his family. John was predeceased by his wife, Roberta Kelly, and his daughter, Donna Marie Sharp. He is survived by his son, John P. Kelly and his fiancee, Carolyn Buckley of Galloway Township; his grandchildren, Brett and Lauren; and his girlfriend, Kitty Earle of Shamong. A viewing will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services will take place at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hammonton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691-4183.
