Obituary of Pasquale Joseph Palmieri

Pasquale Joseph Palmieri, 86 of Hammonton passed away on Friday, February 6, 2015. Born in Hammonton he was a lifelong resident there. Mr. Palmieri was an U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 186 and the Veteran of Foreign Wars Post No. 1026 both in Hammonton. Before retiring he worked as a self-employed carpenter. He was predeceased by his wife, Ida Palmieri (nee Ammirato),; and his son, Donald "Poncho" Palmieri. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia A. Palmieri and her husband William Brinkerhoff; his daughter in law, Maria Palmieri, and one grandchild all of Hammonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Joseph's, 226 French Street in Hammonton, where a viewing will be held from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Legion Post No. 186, P.O. Box 223, Hammonton, NJ 08037.
