Obituary of Catherine (Kay) Bilyou

Catherina Kay Bilyou, (nee Juliano) 94, of Hammonton passed away Wednesday January 21, 2015 in Our Lady's Residence in Pleasantville. Predeceased by her husband William and son Billy and his wife Joan, and their daughter, Deborah. Kay was the last survivor of nine siblings. Kay worked for many years at William B. Kessler clothing shop as a machine operator. Her most significant and noteworthy achievement was contributing over 30,000 hours as a volunteer at Kessler Memorial Hospital. In April 0f 2003, Kay was honored as Citizen of the Year by the Lions Club of Hammonton. She was always there for anyone in need with a cooked meal and her legendary cookies. Kay became active at St. Anthony of Padua Church and enjoyed being a "Greeter" on Saturday afternoons. She is survived by her grandchildren, Billy, Tommy and Joe Bilyou and her great grandchildren, Joanne and Larry. Kay was loved and is grieved by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00am Tuesday Jan. 27, 2015 in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Anthony of Padua RC Church, 285 Route 206, Hammonton, where a viewing will be held from 9:30am until 11:00am. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Hammonton.
