Obituary of Phyllis Wilkens

Phyllis E. Wilkens, (nee Giannini) 82, of Folsom passed away peacefully on Sunday at her residence. Born in Philadelphia she lived in Folsom for over 52 years. She formerly worked as a machine operator for Kessler Clothing Shop and several other clothing shops. Mrs. Wilkens also was a babysitter and provided homecare at her home. She was a former member of the Folsom PTA. Mrs. Wilkens was predeceased by her husband George Clayton Wilkens, her sister, Ruthann M. Tocco and her brother Robert Giannini. She is survived by her children, Steven A. Wilkens, Sr. and his wife Lorie of Galloway, Debra Grasso, Shirley Wells and John Armstrong, Carolin Sacco and her husband Bruce, Kenny Wilkens, all of Hammonton; her grandchildren, Lesley Wright (Bryan), Matthew Grasso (Kristy), Steven A. Wilkens, Jr. Amanda Grasso, Liza Johnston (Ben), Stephanie Sweeney (Mike) , David Sacco, Danielle Wilkens (Ryan), Michael Sacco, Paul Keller and her great grandchildren, Bryan, Brody, & Brayden Wright, Ella & Lila Johnston, Taylor and Avery Grasso, Gunnar Clayton Wilkens; Aiden Sweeney; her five brothers, Michael J. Giannini, Jr., Vincent Giannini, Richard Giannini, Joseph Giannini; David Giannini; her sister, Theresa Prehodko and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Services will be held Thursday 11:00am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, where a viewing will be held from 9:00am until 11:00am. Burial will follow in Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estell Manor. Memorial donations may be made to the Hammonton Cancer Foundation, PO Box 1066 Hammonton, NJ 08037
