Obituary of Robert Longo

Robert Longo,64, of Mullica Township passed away after a three year battle with lung cancer on Wednesday October 15, 2014 in Capital Health Systems in Trenton. He was born in Camden on Dec. 4, 1949 and grew up in the Camden/Blackwood area. Bob served in the United States army for 5 years. In 1972 he went to work for Bell Telephone as a frame attendant and worked for them for 30 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed his dogs, Heidi, Hercules, Crusher and Xena's companionship. He was a member of the Nesco Gun Club. Bob is survived by his wife Marian J. Longo (nee Norris), two sons Brian Andrioli of Gloucester City, and AJ Andrioli and his wife April of Sewell; one daughter, Robin Longo; two grandchildren, Alex Andrioli and AJ Andrioli, III; three brothers, Tom Longo, Bruce Burr and Carl Burr all of Williamstown and one sister, Sandy Hohmann. Funeral Services will be held Friday Oct. 24, 12:00pm at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, where a visitation will take place from 10:00am until 12:00pm. Burial will follow in Atlantic County Veteran's Cemetery, Estell Manor, NJ.
