Obituary of John J. Panarello

John J. Panarello, Sr., 86, of Mullica passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014. Born in Hammonton he was a lifelong area resident. He was an United State Navy Veteran of World World II and the Korean War. Mr. Panarello was a member of the VFW in Hammonton. He retired from Ancora Hospital as an air conditioning/refrigeration technician. John and his wife Margie entertain as "Johnnie and Margie's Golden Oldies. They having been entertaining country western fans for over 63 years. They entertained with Sally Starr and Hank Thompson. Mr. Panarello was predeceased by his brother Gaeton L. Panarello. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Margie (nee Mancuso) Panarello, two sons, Phillip Panarello of Mullica and John Panarello of Pittsgrove; two sisters, Kathleen Phelps of South Hampton, and Frances Shourds of Sweetwater, and one grandchild, Angelina Rose Panarello. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday 11:00am in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Anthony of Padua RC Church, 285 Route 206, Hammonton where a viewing will be held from 9:00am until 11:00am. Entombment will follow in Greenmount Cemetery
