Obituary of Joseph Galardi

Joseph Galardi, 85 of Hammonton passed away Thursday at Virtua Hospital in Voorhees. He was born in Hammonton where he was a lifelong resident. He was a merchant marine for many years before going to work for Bates Construction Company of Winslow. Joe loved hunting, fishing, going to yard sales and collecting antiques. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Dorothy, his brothers, Andy, Harold and Charlie and his sister Alice Vitagliano. Joe is survived by his two daughters, JoAnn Bondiskey; Laurie Miller, his son, Donald Galardi; his chosen children, Joseph Bondiskey and Agnes Tracey; his sister, Marie Friedley, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, nineteen great great grandchildren and his faithful companion, "Butchie." Funeral Services will be held Monday 10:30am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, where a viewing will be held from 9:00am until 10:30am. Burial will follow in Greenmount Cemetery, Hammonton.
