Charles A. Baldi Sr., 70 of Hammonton died Sunday at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelpia. Born in Hammonton he was a lifelong resident there. Before retiring Mr. Baldi worked for Gardiner's Express in Hammonton. He was a member of the the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local No. 676 of Collingswood, where he served as a shop steward, Inskip Antlers in Winslow, Duster's Rifle Club and Gossamer's Gun Club. He was an avid New York Giants fan and he enjoyed playing the organ, and vacationing in Maine. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles D. and Anna M. Baldi. He is survived by his beloved wife, Charlene A. Baldi (nee Dick), two sons, Charles A. Baldi Jr. (Tina) and Damon Baldi (Dawn) all of Hammonton, two daughters, Dawn Baldi (Tim) of Port Charlotte, FL, and Toni Ann Mazza (Nick) of Hammonton, one sister, Barbara Ann Blankenship of Collings Lakes, seven grandchildren, Heather (Jake), Victoria, Domenic, Charles, Erica, Jaclyn, and Hailey, and two great grandchildren, Hannah and Gianna. A viewing will be held Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 11:30 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Joseph's, 226 French Street in Hammonton. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hammonton. Donations may be made to Hammonton Rescue Squad, 300 S.
