Funeral Service: Thursday, December 29, 2011 11:00 AM Pinelands United Methodist Church, Nesco, NJ Visitation: Thursday, December 29, 2011 9:00am-11:00am at Pinelands United Methodist Church, Nesco, NJ Interment: Batsto-Pleasant Mills Cemetery, Pleasant Mills, NJ BiographyDorothy J. "Dolly" Johnson, (nee Fuls), 86 of Nesco passed away Friday at her residence. Born in Hammonton she lived in Nesco for 65 years. She and her late husband Howard, owned and operated Johnson's Gulf in Nesco. Mrs. Johnson was a longtime member of the New Columbia United Methodist Church in Nesco, where she also belong and sang in the Church Choir. Mrs. Johnson loved music and enjoyed get together's with her family where they sang and played musc. She loved gardening and raised beautiful flowers and often decorated the Church Altar with her flowers. She loved to cook. Every Saturday, she made her traditional "Saturday Soup" and also made weekly Sunday diner. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her three children and their spouses, Howard W. Johnson (Nit) of Absecon, Jay N. Johnson (Joyce) of Hammonton, Linda Green (William) of Nesco, her brother, Ellis Fuls of Arizona, her sister, Edna Ake of Illinois, 9 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Thursday 11:00 am in Pinelands United Methodist Church 3551 Nesco Road, Nesco, where a viewing will be held from 9:00am until 11:00am. Burial will follow in Batsto-Pleasant Mills Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to the United Methodist Woman's Group, 3551 Nesco Road, Nesco, NJ 08037. Arrangements are by the Carnesale Funeral Home, Hammonton. |
